Full mouth mini dental implants in Louisville
How full-arch mini and one-piece implants can replace a full set of teeth, what options cost, and what to expect with Dr. Regan Ackerman.
Full mouth mini dental implants are one way to rebuild an entire upper or lower arch when many teeth are missing or failing. At Freedom Dental Implants in Louisville, Dr. Regan Ackerman, DMD, plans full-arch care with mini and conventional-sized one-piece implants. You meet the same doctor from your free consultation through treatment.

What full mouth mini dental implants mean
Full mouth treatment usually means replacing all or most of the teeth in one arch, or both arches. Mini dental implants are narrower than many traditional two-piece implants. At Freedom they are part of a one-piece design, so the implant and the support for your restoration are a single unit. Dr. Ackerman also uses conventional-sized one-piece implants when your bone and bite call for them.
Your plan might use a snap-in denture you remove to clean, or a fixed or detachable bridge for a more permanent feel. The right choice depends on your bone, health, budget, and how you want to care for your teeth day to day.
Who may be a candidate
People often ask about full mouth mini dental implants when dentures slip, many teeth need to come out, or a larger two-piece plan felt too invasive or costly. A CBCT scan shows bone height and width. Narrower implants can help when bone is limited, but they are not automatic for every case. Uncontrolled health issues, active infection, or hygiene that cannot support implants may delay or change the plan.
We preserve healthy teeth whenever we can. When extractions are needed, we typically allow about three months of healing before placing implants. We do not extract teeth and place implants at the same visit.

Full-arch options and listed fees
Snap-in denture: $7,500 per arch. Implants anchor the denture for a more secure fit. You remove it at home for cleaning.
Fixed or detachable bridge: $16,500 per arch. A full set of teeth supported by implants. Detachable designs are maintained by the dental team; cemented roundhouse bridges stay in place.
Per arch means one upper or one lower set. Your written plan lists anything else you may need. We offer a 5% discount for payment by check. Bring a comparable written plan from another office and we will match or improve it. Many patients tell us our plans come in 25% to 50% less than comparable local plans.
Why one-piece implants matter for full mouth care
Two-piece implants often need a second surgery to add an abutment after healing. One-piece implants skip that joint. That can mean fewer visits, a less invasive placement in suitable cases, and no implant-to-abutment gap where bacteria can collect. Learn more in our mini implant FAQs.
What treatment timing looks like
After the free consult, any needed extractions heal for about three months. On placement day, Dr. Ackerman numbs the area (nitrous oxide is available if you want help relaxing). Once implants are stable in a healed site, a planned snap-in denture or temporary can often be loaded the same day. Final teeth follow your restoration schedule. We do not promise same-day final teeth for every case.
Financing and insurance
Lisa helps explain Happen Bank, Cherry, and CareCredit applications. Financing is subject to the lender’s approval and terms. We are out of network with all dental insurance plans, but Lisa can help file paperwork so eligible benefits can reimburse you directly.

Common questions about full mouth mini dental implants
Can both arches be treated? Yes, when your health and plan support it. Each arch is planned and priced separately.
Are mini implants always used for full mouth cases? No. Dr. Ackerman chooses mini or conventional-sized one-piece implants based on your scan and restoration.
Will I leave with teeth the day implants are placed? Often a snap-in or temporary can be attached the same day after placement in a healed site when stability allows. Your consult sets expectations for your case.
