How removable snap-in dentures work

Implant attachments help hold the denture in place while letting you remove it at home for daily cleaning.

The implants and denture work together

Implants provide anchor points in the jaw. Matching attachments within the denture engage those anchors. The goal is a more secure fit for eating and speaking than a denture that relies only on the gums.

You remain in control of daily cleaning

A snap-in denture is removable. We show you how to release it, clean the denture and attachment areas, and seat it correctly. Never force it into place by biting hard if it does not seem aligned.

Plan for routine attention

Attachment inserts or O-rings can wear. Changes in fit, damage, or soreness deserve an assessment. Our listed snap-in denture fee is $7,500 per arch. Dr. Ackerman explains implant size, number, position, and any additional treatment in your personalized plan.
