The short answer
Dr. Ackerman describes financing through CareCredit and other providers, with terms depending on the application. Some treatment plans may also allow payments to be divided through the office instead of using third-party financing.
Understanding your treatment cost is one step; deciding how to pay is another. In this video, Dr. Regan Ackerman explains how the office helps patients review financing and possible payment schedules.
So during the free consultation that we offer, the last question is always cost. And then, do we offer payment plans? We certainly offer payment plans through third-party providers. The most common one people know about is CareCredit, but we work with several other companies as well. What we found out too is say, maybe you apply for CareCredit and you didn’t get approved for the amount you wanted or you didn’t like the terms.
We’ll apply with a different third-party provider, and sometimes you’ll get approved for that one. So, it’s just a process, and we’ll work with you or we’ll choose the provider, the third-party financing company that we think has been helping our patients the best most recently, and with the lowest interest rate. And there are interest-free options. A lot of it’s based on your credit, but we definitely offer financing for implants. And depending on your treatment plan and the scenario, sometimes we can just even break up the payments ourselves within our office and not have to do third-party financing.
If you’re interested in learning more about payment plans for dental implant treatment, we invite you to schedule a free consultation with Dr. Regan Ackerman at Freedom Dental Implants in Louisville, Kentucky. We look forward to giving you the freedom to smile.

Dr. Ackerman notes that providers may offer different approvals and terms. The team can help you review those choices after your treatment plan is established. She also explains that the treatment timeline may allow a different payment arrangement through the office.
