How Much Do Dental Implants Cost

The short answer

Dr. Ackerman quotes approximate ranges in the video: $2,000–$3,000 for a single tooth, $6,000–$8,000 for a snap-in denture, and $15,000–$17,000 for a roundhouse bridge. She explains that an individual estimate requires a consultation.

Cost is often one of the first questions when you are considering dental implants. In this video, Dr. Regan Ackerman gives examples for different types of tooth replacement and explains why she needs to examine your mouth before giving an exact estimate.

Number one question at the end of a consultation, how much is this going to cost? Everybody wants to know how much the mini dental implant costs, and I’m not going to dance around it. I will give you price ranges. It’s hard to give an exact number without seeing you for a consultation. I kind of relate it to you go to the mechanic to get your car fixed.

That mechanic is not going to know what needs to be done until they raise the hood on that car. I am not going to know exactly what needs to be done in your mouth until I look in your mouth. So it’s a free consultation, but as far as trying to give you a number, because I know a lot of people dance around it, for a single tooth, so say you just need one tooth., replaced with a mini dental implant, that’s going to be around $2,000 to $3,000.

If you need a snap-in denture, this includes a new denture with all the mini implants, any adjustments, everything start to finish, you’re looking anywhere from $6,000 to $8,000. Sometimes I can use your existing denture and convert it to a snap-in denture, and so that’s going to be more on the $6,000, the lower end.

Okay? If you want to do the full arch, the Roundhouse bridge made out of that much, much stronger material that’s going to last longer than dentures, and get rid of dentures where you don’t have to take anything in and out of your mouth, the nicest thing we do, that’s going to be anywhere from $15,000 to $17,000. Okay? We do have financing plans, we do staggered payments because we can phase the process for you. So there are many different ways, but I would say usually the mini dental implant process is a lot less invasive, less healing time, more streamlined, and it can be less expensive than the surgical implants.

I hope that answers your question. I tried not to dance around it. I know a lot of people try to call around and get exact prices, but those are some pretty good price ranges. But once again, not going to know exactly until you come in for that free consultation.
